About the editor
Luisa Duarte is an independent curator, writer and researcher. A Master of Philosophy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), and Doctor from Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), she spent nine years as the art critic for O Globo. She edited ABC – Arte Brasileira Contemporânea, 2014, with Adriano Pedrosa. She curated the exhibition Adriana Varejão – Por uma Retórica Canibal, Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia (MAM-BA), Salvador, and Museu de Arte Moderna Aloísio Magalhães (MAMAM), Recife, 2019.
